Bryce B. For the win! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So Good We Had to Come Back Before Leaving! We loved this restaurant so much that we actually came back a second time before our vacation was over! The food was absolutely delicious, and both the flavor and presentation completely impressed us. We were lucky enough to have Bryce B. as our waiter both times, and he was fantastic! On our first visit, he was extremely helpful and gave us some excellent recommendations. The Golden Shogun sushi he suggested was amazing, and every appetizer we tried was a hit—from the crab rangoons and spring rolls to the calamari. Everything tasted incredible, and the presentation was beautifully executed. You can tell they put just as much care into how the food looks as how it tastes. When we came back the second time, Bryce actually recognized us, which made the experience even better. He was just as sweet, attentive, and helpful as he had been the first time. Every recommendation he gave us was spot-on! Between the beautiful food, amazing flavors, and Bryce making us feel so welcome, we knew we had to visit one more time before heading home. Presentation was excellent — almost every dish looked genuinely appetizing. The octopus appetizer and salmon entree were spectacular. Both were cooked well, and the orange glaze complemented them nicely. The crab rangoons had a unique look to them, different from the usual, but had less crispiness and more breading than I prefer. The pho was overpriced for what it was. I wouldn’t order it again. The cocktails were decent, nothing particularly memorable. One note on billing: an 18% gratuity was already included, and I didn’t add any additional tip on the receipt — yet my card was charged $10 more than the receipt total. Worth checking your statement against your receipt.

We had high expectations based on the reviews for this beautiful spot, but unfortunately the experience did not fully live up to the hype. We jumped on the waitlist for 15 minutes to be seated and once we were seated, we were placed at a large square horseshoe-shaped table meant for six people even though we only had three in our party. When I politely asked if there was another table option, the hostess seemed shocked that we even asked, despite there being several open tables nearby. We were told those tables were all reserved, yet during the entire time we ate, nobody was ever seated at them. Thankfully, our server, Alex was excellent. He immediately noticed we were uncomfortable and ended up moving us to one of the exact tables we had originally asked about. He was attentive, professional, and honestly the highlight of the experience. The timing of the food was also disappointing. A group of six that arrived after us received their appetizers before we even got our meals, despite us ordering well before they arrived. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My wife and I celebrated our 1-year anniversary in the St. Pete / Clearwater Beach area and had the absolute pleasure of dining at Ocean Hai. From start to finish, the entire experience was phenomenal. The service began the moment we arrived. The valet team was welcoming and professional, setting the tone for the evening. Our server Alex was outstanding, attentive, communicative, and incredibly personable without ever feeling intrusive. He made the entire experience feel relaxed and special. What truly stood out was the extra level of hospitality from the management team. Jason, the manager, went above and beyond by arranging a handwritten anniversary letter signed by the staff along with a beautiful card wishing us a happy anniversary. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us and is something we’ll never forget. As for the food…absolutely incredible. We tried a wide variety of the menu, including multiple appetizers, several entrées, and dessert. Everything was outstanding, but the sushi completely stole the show. This place was genuinely incredible. I took my girlfriend here for our 1 year anniversary because I saw it on maps and it sounded good, and we both love seafood. I found the restaurant while I was still deciding on what hotel we were going to stay at and then just so happened to choose the Wyndham Grand (which was also amazing but that's a different story). I was very pleasantly surprised to see them hand us a discount card at check in which got us 10% off on our meal here - even better! I booked us an outdoor table at 5 pm hoping we'd have a perfect view of the sunset. And, well, the attached pictures speak for themselves! It was really gorgeous, beautiful atmosphere and our waiter was great. The meal started with some complimentary edamame which is always a plus. My girlfriend ordered the scallops which were so good, as well as an order of sashimi which is not my personal preference but she was visibly in heaven. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and two kamikaze rolls which were specifically recommended by our waiter (although to be honest I would've ordered it anyway - shrimp tempura and spicy lobster, it doesn't get better than that). No exaggeration, it was the best sushi roll I
